Abstract watercolor brush accent

Cumbria.pl is the official and largest Polish community online news magazine created mostly for Poles living in Cumbria, UK. It’s origins date back to 2008 and the mission stays the same – to reach as many Poles as possible in order to provide them with regional and national information. The editors of Cumbria.pl are the people who are involved locally in their communities and whose goal is to deepen international integration, promote Polish identity abroad, and provide the latest regional and national information in their native language.

Our Task

Our task was to thoroughly rebuild the existing website, which had served the local Polish community for 10 years. Back in 2008 site was built on joomla and had to be migrated to new CMS with all historical content kept intact. After successful migration we’ve integrated social media accounts, added currency exchange feature, created organised structure of roles and privileges for article authors, content moderators and administrators. As part of this project, a new logo has also been designed.
